Habitat Metro Maryland is excited to announce our upcoming 5th Annual Polo Classic at the Congressional Polo Club. This premier region-wide event benefits Habitat’s mission to build strength, stability, self-reliance, and affordable housing across the Metro DC area.
Guests will enjoy two spectacular fast paced matches featuring professional polo players, the time-honored tradition of stomping of the divots, sideline activities including Best Hat and Best Tailgate contests and more.

Join Our Green Corps
Become a core volunteer in our Neighborhood Engagement initiative. Volunteers with experience in landscaping and gardening are needed!
Some light construction work also included. Participating in Neighborhood Engagement work allows Habitat to fully embrace our mission – to build homes, stronger communities and hope.

Volunteers should be able to:
- Perform basic gardening chores
- Pick up litter, trim weeds, install walkways, create garden beds, plant tress, etc.
- Some construction experience
- Work in hot and/or cold weather
- Stoop, bend, and lift 50+ lbs
- Appreciate other volunteers
- Work with a diverse group of people
