Dear Habitat Friend,
It's build time! The photo on the right shows the site of one of the two new homes we will be building in Ashburnham. The driveways are in, the foundation is being poured, and we are ready to build. We have lots of opportunities to volunteer this summer--and thank you to AMD, Travelers, Workers Credit Union, Dimension Data and Apple Valley Youth Group for signing up to build already. With your help we will have the walls up very quickly!
We completed two critical home repair projects in the last two weeks. A big thank you to Rollstone Bank & Trust for sending a crew to Littleton to help with Anne's repair, and for helping to fund this program as well. Our gratitude as well to Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School for partnering with us for a project in Gardner. This was a complicated accessibility project and we are so thankful to have the expertise of their plumbing instructors and students.
It's time to sign up for the Building Dreams Golf Tournament! The tournament is planned for September 17th at Shaker Hills Country Club in Harvard, and you can sign up below to play or sponsor. We were lucky to have Clare as part of our organization for many years and wish her the very best in her new role at the Sterling Senior Center.
