Hello Volunteers,

Since opening in 2009, the Bloomington ReStore has brought in over $5 million in sales to support local families as they realize their dream of becoming homeowners in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of McLean County.

The ReStore cannot operate without the hard work and dedication of volunteers. They are looking for volunteers to help work at the retail store on an ongoing basis.

Times/Shifts of Volunteers needed:

Work whenever you want. Currently help is most needed on weekdays. Store hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Volunteers will report to:

Bloomington ReStore

1402 W. Washington St.

Bloomington, IL 61701

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines:

None at this time. Masks are optional.

Description of Duties:

Help price, clean, sort, or test donated items.

Description of Impact:

The ReStore has limited staff to help process the large volume of donations that come in regularly. Helping get these donated items to the sales floor faster would help raise more money for the Habitat for Humanity home building efforts.

Required Skills:

Stable mobility is recommended, otherwise there are no specific skills required to volunteer, just a willingness to learn and a desire to serve the local community.

If interested, please reply to this email or call us as soon as possible at 309-662-0461 x 234 or 235.
