January 7, 2020 – London, ON - Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario is pleased to announce the return of She Shed/He Shed. Old Hickory Buildings has joined with Habitat Heartland for a second year of this raffle fundraiser in support of the construction of affordable homes for local families. Two teams, in friendly competition, from London District Construction Association’s Women in Construction will be decorating one shed each – one a “she shed” and one a “he shed”. They will be incorporating new and upcycled items from the ReStores in their designs.

The sheds will be on display at the Lifestyle Home Show January 31 – February 2, 2020 at the Western Fair District Agriplex in London, presented by London Home Builder’s Association & Rembrandt Homes.  Corus Entertainment is Media Sponsor for this event and will broadcast live from inside the sheds during the Lifestyle Home Show.
Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20, and can be purchased at the Heartland Ontario ReStores and online at www.habitat4home.ca until January 29, 2020. There are only 2,000 tickets available. Any remaining tickets will be available for sale in person at the Lifestyle Home Show. The final draw will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 4:00pm at the Lifestyle Home Show.

The sheds each have an approximate retail value of $4,000. Old Hickory Buildings and Habitat Heartland Ontario will coordinate delivery of the sheds to the winners’ homes. We can deliver anywhere within our region.
