Home Ownership Informational Workshops

From the first step of every Habitat Partner Family's journey, Habitat for Humanity is there every step of the way. Partner Families work hand-in-hand with Habitat, contributing their hard work and dedication on the path to owning a home. From program acceptance and orientation to building their Habitat Home, through Habitat-led workshops and the mortgage process leading up to their home dedication, the Partner Family program empowers future homeowners, providing essential skills for long-term success.

Ready to start your journey toward Habitat Homeownership? Join us at one of our upcoming workshops in November to learn more about becoming a Habitat Partner Family. The application process officially opens on December 2nd!

Habitat for Humanity of Northeast GA is seeking passionate, service-oriented individuals residing in White or Habersham County to join our committed Board of Directors for 2025.

Ideal candidates will have a strong dedication to our mission, a desire to strengthen their community, and a commitment to civic stewardship and service. While experience in one of the following areas is beneficial, it is not required: construction, real estate, church leadership and administration, non-profit governance, fundraising, legal representation, mortgage lending, or retail sales and marketing.

Get ready for our 46th Annual Hogpen Hill Climb 18K and 5K Piglet!

Join us on January 18th, 2025, for the 46th running of the legendary 18k Hogpen Hill Climb and the 5k Piglet Race at Riverside Park in Helen, GA. Race shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants, and awards will be given to top finishers in each age group. Become a Carpenter's Club Member

Habitat For Humanity of NE GA would like to invite you to become a "Carpenter's Club" Member by making a one-time donation - or a monthly reoccurring donation, to support our efforts to build decent, affordable homes in your community. It takes a great many resources to build a Habitat Home, and we build year-round alongside Partnering Families and volunteers. By becoming a "Carpenters Club" Member, you help build in a different way. Your donation helps to sustain our year-round home building efforts, guaranteeing the funds necessary to buy much needed construction materials. As a member, it’s as if you are on the Habitat Home construction site, building alongside our Partner Families and volunteers - month after month. And, by joining "Carpenters Club", there are benefits based on donation amount:

At Habitat, our vision is that everyone should have decent, affordable housing. And, that vision can't be realized if we do not have land to build on. Land donations are a huge way to help Habitat For Humanity successfully achieve our mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. Volunteer

By volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia, you can be a part of the change you want to see in your community.

We offer several opportunities to build or repair homes with families, in addition to volunteer work opportunities at our Habitat ReStore. You can even invite your friends and family to join us.

Together, we can all help build a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Habitat House #80 is transforming into a beautiful HOME for a deserving Partner Family, and we’re grateful to witness its progress every day! Habitat for Humanity of Northeast GA is incredibly blessed to have such dedicated volunteers who are committed to our mission of strengthening communities and, most importantly, supporting our Partner Families. We extend our heartfelt thanks to these remarkable individuals—without their hard work and dedication, our impact in the communities we serve simply wouldn’t be possible!
