Dear Habitat for Humanity of Evansville supporter,
I am writing to provide an update about the measures Habitat for Humanity of Evansville is taking to protect our staff, volunteers and the people we serve during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
These measures are based on guidance from Habitat for Humanity International and local, state and national public health authorities. We are continually monitoring the situation, and our approach may change as new guidance is provided.
Given the current circumstances in our area, our builds, meetings and events will be postponed through at least April 6, 2020. In addition, our ReStore has temporarily closed until at least April 6, 2020. As April 6 nears, we will reassess the situation and make further decisions at that time and will update you as conditions change.
We recognize these measures may be disruptive to your plans and ask for your patience as we navigate these uncertain times. The safety of Habitat volunteers, future homeowners, donors and staff are our utmost concern. Our prayers go out to you and your families, and we appreciate your prayers for the Habitat ministry during this uncertain time. Feel free to call the Habitat office at (812) 423-5623 if you have questions or concerns.
