What My Biomechanics Training Told Me About Me!

Whilst I was learning to assess people on my Biomechanics course, I had all the tests done on me first. It turned out that I had a few biomechanical problems to address. My pelvis was out of alignment, as were my spine, shoulders and knees.

After doing a series of simple releases, my pelvis released and improved. Subsequent tests have shown that I’m back in alignment!

What had led me to that point? Find out (and see if it applies to you!)

Fancy Trying Biomechanics Releases?

Say thank you to your body for working so hard for you. I will take you through a systematic screening which will highlight any biomechanics faults which need to be addressed.

My treatment, suggestions, and exercises will fit around your lifestyle, job, and workout schedule. You can do all the exercises and stretches at home. Hit reply to this email if you’re interested in treating yourself to an assessment

Lentil & Pumpkin Soup

This classic soup is thick, hearty and packed with fibre.

Serves two.

  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp medium curry paste
  • ½ medium onion, roughly chopped
  • 100g pumpkin
  • 50 g dried red lentils
  • 1 Bramley apple, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • ½ pint of vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp natural yogurt
  • Coriander, chopped

Heat the oil in a saucepan. Fry the curry paste and onions together over a medium heat for 3 minutes. Add the pumpkin, lentils and apple pieces. Pour over the stock and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and blitz in a blender or with a stick blender until smooth. Top with yogurt and coriander.
