Please note that beginning this afternoon at 3pm Bradford Pear will be closed between Sugar Maple and Boxwood to allow set-up for Taste of Hackberry. From 3pm to 5pm Gate 4 will be open to allow exiting from Sugar Maple only and entry onto Sugar Maple only. Beginning at 5pm Gate 4 entrance and exit will be CLOSED until approximately 9:30pm once Taste of Hackberry ends and clean-up is complete. At 9:30pm Bradford Pear between Sugar Maple and Boxwood will also re-open.

Parking for Hackberry Creek will be on Bradford Pear, Boxwood, Sugar Maple and Native Oak. There is no parking along Parkridge allowed.

This is a private event for HACKBERRY RESIDENTS ONLY as this is one of our best community building events: get together with old friends or make a few new ones.

NO PETS are allowed at his event.

CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED throughout the event.

PEDESTRIAN ONLY ZONE so please leave the bicycles, skateboards, scooters and other wheeled toys home.

Everyone loves a party, so come out and enjoy the great entertainment, terrific food and fun times!

The next Security Committee meeting is Monday, May 1 at 6:00 pm at the HOA office. They will be defining their top objectives and welcome participation from anyone interested in joining!

Hackberry Creek Putt-Putt Open Coming to an End

Make sure to get your completed score cards for the Hackberry Creek Putt-Putt Open turned into the HOA office before May 1 for scoring. Score cards can be found under the gazebo at the Village Greens on Sugar Maple. Golf equipment can be checked out from Gate 4.

The winning score in each of the 3 age groups will win a prize sponsored by Kimberly Barton with Marci Barton Group Re/MAX DFW Associates, Dr Delphinium Design & Events, Pinstack, or Marble Slab Creamery.

The Board of Directors voted to open up their deliberations on the 2023-2024 budget to the community. The next budget workshop will be held Thursday, May 4th at 12 noon. Homeowners are welcome to view the workshop and listen via Zoom (only). Due to the limited time available there will be no homeowner comment, chat, messaging or questions during the session.

However, a new website forum category has been created to allow homeowners to post questions, comments or suggestions concerning the budget during the budget process. Board members will review comments and take into conideration during their work on the budget. The budget forum category will remain open until the final budget is formally approved.

Dear Resident/Property Owner:

You are invited to attend a public meeting on the Master Plan of MUSTANG PARK, 2223 KINWEST PARKWAY.

The 2019 Master Plan identified Mustang Park Recreation Center as a park facility for expansion. The property will be expanded eight acres to the north, and the City has hired Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, Inc. to conduct a community-driven needs assessment for the new Mustang Park Master Plan.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas, vision, requests or concerns about the project.
