SAVING YOUR ASSOCIATION MONEY
EVERY BIT HELPS!
| |
We all know that sometimes small choices make a big difference in the long run. It's the same when it comes to a budget. In a few months the Board will be developing a budget for the upcoming year. This past year the Association paid for a text-messaging service in order to be able to commuicate quickly and instantly with all residents.
We would like to remove that expense but still be able to provide the same service to residents albeit via a different means. We have over 2,000 mobile phone numbers in our text-message service database. In order to move away from that paid service but also be able to push notifications out instantly (and without additional cost) we are asking everyone who hasn't to please download the Hackberry Creek app! Right now we only have about 350 people who have downloaded it. We need a greater percentage to do so in order to stop the text message service.
It only takes a few minutes, and if you are already a member of the website with an account and password, you can use that same info to log into the app. People with the app can receive instant push notifications with important information without having to check your email. We've paid for the app and push notifications are free, so we are trying to be efficient and not duplicate services.
Click the links to the App for Android and Apple found below!
