Are you making progress?
We are halfway through the yearlong implementation process of improving care for maternal sepsis! To highlight the importance of this work, we want to share with you April's story.
April Chavez (pictured above) is a leader with Michigan AIM and also a spokesperson for End Sepsis Foundation. She shares her story of her lived experience for maternal sepsis and shares the importance of listening to patients and how to advocate for themselves. This video linked below is meant to share freely to educate patients and health care professionals.
We thank her for being brave to share her story and reminding us all that patients are the heart of everything we do.
