The Halifax Art Festival has risen in attendance and reputation to become one of the most prestigious festivals in the Central Florida area. It is the second oldest continual festival in Florida.
The two-day event was voted 2017's "Best Outdoor Art Festival" by the readers of Daytona's Hometown News and has received Grants from the Halifax Area Advertising Authority.
Admission is free to the public with plenty of free parking for artful shoppers and artists.
The comprehensive, multi-layered marketing/publicity campaign draws 30,000 shoppers from the "World's Most Famous Beach," the I-4 Orlando/Tampa corridor, and local 'snowbirds' to the Festival.
The Festival has two sections - Competitive Fine Arts and Crafts which is juried and judged and eligible for prize and patron money. Non-Competitive Arts is juried but not eligible for awards. Art work in both sections must be original creations, no buy/sell.
We make artists our first priority at the Halifax Art Festival. Apply and see why the "World's Most Famous Beach" is a great place to vacation as well as join us at the Halifax Art Festival!
The 56th Annual Halifax Art Festival is presented and produced by the Guild of the Daytona Beach Museum of Arts & Sciences. The Festival is the Guild's Signature fundraiser for the Museum.
