Hall Estill Welcomes Attorneys to Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Denver

Hall Estill, Oklahoma's leading law firm, with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Denver, Northwest Arkansas and Nashville, announces the addition of Matthew S. Campbell and David T. Potts to the firm’s tax practice in the Tulsa office; Mark F. Bell and E. Job Seese to the Denver office; and associates Leslie D. Gile and Katie N. Wagner to the Oklahoma City office, and Kayla M. Kuri and Aaron C. Tifft to the Tulsa office.

Matthew S. Campbell
joins the firm as a 20-year attorney with experience in private practice and a Fortune 500 Corporate Tax department. Matt's practice at Hall Estill will concentrate on tax and international tax law, as well as corporate services, specifically in the mergers and acquisitions area, serving clients nationwide. Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a Tax Director for TechnipFMC plc in Houston and previously worked at professional services firms Ernst & Young, BKD LLP, Aronson & Company, and KPMG LLP.
Matt earned his J.D,
with distinction
, from the University of Iowa College of Law and received his LL.M in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center. In addition, Matt is on the advisory board for Arts for Healing, a 501(c)3 entity.

David T. Potts
joins as Special Counsel. His practice focuses primarily in the tax field, assisting clients in the areas of federal, state and local taxation, including controversy and litigation matters. Prior to joining Hall Estill, David was a partner at James, Potts & Wulfers. David earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and is involved in the Tulsa County and Oklahoma Bar Associations, as well as the International Society of Primerus Law Firms and Tulsa Tax Club.

Kayla M. Kuri
joins Hall Estill’s Tulsa office as an associate, where she will primarily practice in the firm’s Corporate Law practice area with an emphasis on Tax and Real Estate Law. She received her J.D.,
with highest honors
, from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Arkansas State University. While in law school, she was Assistant Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. Kayla also served as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable Robert Bacharach of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Aaron C. Tifft
practices in Hall Estill’s Litigation section in the Tulsa office as an associate. Tifft graduated,
with highest honors
, from the University of Tulsa College of Law, and graduated
summa cum laude
with his degree in Media from Oral Roberts University.
While in law school, Aaron was Editor-in-Chief of the Tulsa Law Review and a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society. In addition, he was named Most Outstanding Law Student of his graduating class.

Mark F. Bell
joins the firm as a shareholder in the Denver office. Mark’s practice includes representing banks and financial institutions in both Corporate and Litigation matters. His comprehensive lender representation includes bankruptcy and lender-liability litigation, complex loan documentation workout and loan restructuring, regulatory and compliance matters, loan sales, enforcement litigation, security interest analysis and bank operations. Mark’s extensive practice also includes complex real estate and business transactions, as well as contentious litigation in state and federal courts nationwide.
Mark received his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law and was honored with the American Jurisprudence Awards including bankruptcy and creditor-debtor relations. He is involved both professionally and personally in Denver community organizations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the Colorado Lawyers Committee, the American Red Cross-Mile High Chapter, and Colorado Public Radio.

E. Job Seese
joins as a special counsel litigation attorney in the Denver office. Job is a seasoned litigator with broad experience representing and advising clients involved in complex commercial litigation. He represents a range of domestic and foreign clients—including mid-market firms, closely-held businesses, and private individuals — in federal and state courts and arbitrations across the country and globally. Job assists clients in finding cost-effective, innovative, full-scoped ways to resolve and prevail in their business disputes and litigation-related matters.
Job received his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, Job served as a judicial clerk for The Honorable Stanley F. Birch, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Leslie D. Gile
joins as an associate in Hall Estill’s Family Law practice in Oklahoma City. Gile is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law where she was a participant of the William B. Spong Moot Court Competition and an Elite Eight Finalist. She received her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Oklahoma. Gile also served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Robert L. Hudson at the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals.
Leslie joins her father John W. Gile and brother Matthew R. Gile in the Hall Estill Oklahoma City Family Law practice.

Katie N. Wagner
joins as an associate in Hall Estill’s Litigation practice in Oklahoma City. Wagner graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law and received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Central Oklahoma. Wagner also served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Brian Goree at the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals and received a pro bono service award in recognition of her work with OCU’s Public Interest Fellowship. She is a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society as well as the civic leadership organization Junior League OKC. While completing her law degree, Wagner studied abroad at Oxford, with emphasis in European Union law and English common law.
