Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
We were proud to celebrate the life, work, and legacy of Dr. King this past week at Hallett. Our 5th Grade boys shared a moving piece during Friday's Community Circle, and our 2nd Graders took part in a beautiful Marade to the very church visited by Dr. King many years ago. More photos and videos from each can be found HERE .
Safety Reminders
Please be sure to make a complete stop at all intersections around Hallett - we want to make sure all our children are safe getting to and from school!

If your child rides a bike to school, please remind them to be considerate of anyone walking on the sidewalk and to be vigilant with stop signs and traffic signals. We want all our children and neighbors to stay safe. Thank you!
Reminders from the Front Office

END OF DAY
If you plan to change how your child gets home on a daily basis, please notify the office prior to 3:30pm at 720-424-6070. Please keep in mind that we need to hear from you if there are any changes.

LOST AND FOUND
If your child is missing an item of clothing, please stop by the school to see if it is among the items we have collected. Not quite sure how it happens, but we seem to acquire quite a bit of clothing.

ATTENDANCE
If your child is out sick from school, please contact the office so that we can excuse your child for the day. We do send out a daily robo-call when students have an unverified absence.

PHONE CALLS
Please keep in mind that the office staff cannot transfer calls up to the classroom as this will interrupt the classroom learning environment. If it is important that you talk to your child during learning time, the office staff will take a note up to the teacher and ask that the student return your call during their recess time.

AM DROP OFF
Please do not drop your child off at school prior to 8:15 a.m. There is NO supervision available.  The office will no longer open the doors until 8:15 a.m.  Students may have to stand outside in the cold until 8:15am. Staff will no longer allow them in the building.
