Hallmark Occoquan

Particularly during the winter holidays I will sometimes hear people remark that Occoquan resembles a Hallmark Christmas movie. Well that may be a little more true this year than folks realize thanks to Occoquan resident, Vicky Somma. As some of you may know, among other things, Vicky makes and markets holiday ornaments that feature Occoquan elements. One of those ornaments, the Mamie Davis Park gazebo, is featured as a plot point in the Hallmark Christmas movie, "The Gift of Peace." Check it out if you are able and get a little more Occoquan in the holiday. And thank you, Vicky, for representing us so well.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
