Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom,
Yeshua/ Jesus, the Risen Messiah/Christ stated this foundational Truth in Matthew 28:18: "ALL authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth."
Yet, isn't it true that we virtually all have obeyed as if this statement 2,000 years ago doesn't apply to our busy agendas? Instead of coming into His Kingdom, and then obeying His instructions from His Holy Spirit, don't we typically focus on family, career, other distractions? I confess: I've failed to HALLOW You, Lord, by not honoring Your full authority in my life. I repent, Lord. Help me point toward Your path of purity so that I can hallow you every day.
A key example of the need to hallow Him is found in Numbers 20:10. Moses, having earlier followed the Lord's instruction to strike a rock with his staff to bring forth water, later in the journey at Kadesh was instructed by the Lord to speak to a rock to bring forth water.
In a fit of anger Moses, instead of speaking, struck the rock twice: " Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, 'Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.'"
