Happy Halloween
We hope you all have a fun but safe Halloween! Keep in mind your
furry members don't really understand what is going on and might
find the holiday stressful instead of fun. Click here to read our full list of tips to keep your four-legged family members safe and happy!

Basic Halloween Tips:
  1. Make sure your pet has current and valid tags. If your cat doesn't wear a collar, make sure he doesn't slip outside.
  2. Beware of candy and other dangers. Raisins (and grapes) can cause renal failure! Chocolate and other snacks can be toxic to pets! If you use candles for your Jack-o-Lanterns, make sure your pet can't knock them over.
  3. Don't force your pet to wear a costume that makes it uncomfortable or unnecessarily stressed.
  4. Black cats face special dangers due to superstition around the holiday. Take extra care to make sure they are safe!
