"Halloween is coming.

What will you wear?

I might wear a blanket and be a brown bear.

Halloween is coming.

What will you see?

I might see a pirate on the deep sea.

Halloween is coming.

What will you do?

I might go Trick or Treating.

How about you?"

Halloween Safety Month

Halloween Safety Month is an annual campaign that was started in 1990 by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in collaboration with the American Automobile Association (AAA). It was set up as a way to educate people about the dangers of Halloween and how to avoid them. The campaign has since grown into a national effort, with more than half of all states now taking part.

Having a safe and fun time during Halloween is easy if you have strategies to prevent anything from turning spooky.

Children as well as adults love the magic of Halloween, but costume and traffic safety are essential for trick-or-treaters. Halloween Safety Month is an opportunity for us all to remember that there are many ways we can be safer while trick-or-treating. We know how important it is to have fun on Halloween, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it safely.
