Upcoming Halloween Spooktacular Will be a Two-Night Event!

Join us for our annual Halloween Spooktacular! This year we're making it a two-night event, happening Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29, at Cutler Ridge Park from 6 PM to 10 PM both nights. Admission is FREE!

We will be providing additional information closer to the event (parade route, food truck lists, event map, etc.):

6 PM to 10 PM
  • Trunk or Treat
  • Costume Contest
  • Register in person at event only. Limited to first 25 participants to register, per age group. Sign up closes at 7:45 PM. Categories are:
  • Infants to 2 years
  • 3 to 6 years
  • 7 to 9 years
  • 10 to 13 years
  • 14 to 17 years
  • 18 and up
  • Pets
  • Inflatables
  • Haunted House
  • Open from 6 PM to 9:20 PM

Cutler Bay Senior Games Registration Closing September 19

Registration is closing soon for our 8th Annual Cutler Bay Senior Games on October 15-21, 2022! If you are thinking of participating, don't delay and register by Monday, September 19!

Our Senior Games are FREE to participate in and are open to adults aged 50 and over.
These Games are a precursor to the Florida Senior Games. Residents of other municipalities are welcomed and encouraged to participate! 

The games will include the following categories: Tennis, Table Tennis, Swimming, Shuffleboard, Running, Power Walking, Pickleball, Horseshoes, Bowling, Billiards and Basketball.

Register today and don't forget to share with your friends!
September 16 for Movie Night and Dog Walk/Adoption


We're also partnering with Miami-Dade Animal Services to have a dog walk before the movie is shown. Some of the cuties up for adoption will be strutting their stuff and attendees will be able to adopt a pooch on the spot. A few more event highlights:

  • 6 PM: Dog Walk Begins
  • 7:30 PM: Movie Begins (Sing 2)
  • FREE Admission and free popcorn (while supplies last)
  • Food trucks on site
  • Bring your lawn chairs and blankets

Free Trees for County Homeowners on September 24

On Saturday, September 24, Miami-Dade County Government's Division of Environmental Resources Management will be giving two FREE trees to Miami-Dade County single-family and duplex homeowners in attendance through its popular Adopt-A-Tree program. The event will take place at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (10950 SW 211 Street, Cutler Bay, FL 33189) from 9 AM to noon. Trees will be given on a first come, first served basis.

2022-23 Budget Hearings

Every year, the town holds three budget workshops and two budget hearings to discuss, plan, and set the next year's budget and millage rate. The Town's fiscal year begins October 1 and ends on September 30.

Typically, the budget workshops are held during the months of June and/or July and the budget hearings are held in September. The final/adopted millage rate and Town budget are set during the 2nd budget hearing.
