UPCOMING DEADLINES

The Golden Neighborhood Homeownership program is open for low-to-moderate-income residents looking to purchase a home in Jersey City. The Division of Community Development is accepting preliminary applications until November 1st, 2022! GNHP provides down payment assistance and closing cost up to $150,000. The Senior Freeze Program reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled persons for property tax or mobile home park site fee increases on their principal residence (main home). You can still file for the 2021 Senior Freeze. The deadline for 2021 applications is October 31, 2022. To learn more, call 1-800-882-6597.

The Jersey City COVID-19 Rent Relief Program has reopened! Applications for the lottery will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on OCTOBER 31ST - NOVEMBER 10TH.
