A special thanks to all those who made last night's Ham Dinner a success. It was our first major community event as we emerge, (somewhat), from the pandemic.
A special thanks to Jane Babinski and to all who volunteered in the kitchen, as "waitstaff", and those who prepped dishes, (apple sauce, raisin sauce, sweet potatoes, Cole Slaw et al). Our intrepid ticket-taker Marian Brownlie has informed us that we served 127 meals!
As always in these events it is the sense of community, and the impression of St. Mary's as a place that fosters welcome and community, which is their most important feature for our ongoing mission. Last night was certainly a rousing success in that regard. Thanks again to all!
