Hamilton Employers: It's time to tell us about your skilled trades shortages!
During our many interactions with employers WPH has heard for years about looming local skills shortages and issues with the current apprenticeship system.

We are excited to launch a new project: In-demand Skilled Tades in Hamilton, which will garner valuable feedback from employers on their experiences with skilled trades shortages and suggestions to improve the system.

As part of the project WPH is conducting a survey.

We are gathering information about the growing demand for tradespeople and seeking input on how the apprenticeship system can work better for your company.

Please take five minutes to complete the survey and share your valuable information such as:

  • the top skilled trades occupations you employ
  • what occupations are hard to fill, and why
  • what changes could the Ontario government make to the apprecticeship program to respond better to your needs

Your responses will be anonymous. The survey closes on Friday, September 27th.

We will also be holding a series of consultations with local employers in the near future.

If you have any questions regarding the survey please email Viktor Cicman at [email protected]
or call 905 521-5777 Ext. 16.
