Start & End Times for 21-22 School Year
As some of you may know, the official start and end time of school was scheduled to change for the current school year at Hamilton as we were part of a final group of middle schools moving to a later start. We actually did have our classes starting at the later start time for most of this year while in an all virtual environment, but reverted back to our early start time when our in-person cohort groups began on campus in late April. The reason for reverting to the earlier start time was to ensure that the district had access to enough buses to implement appropriate student spacing in its response to the pandemic. For next year, we will be going back to our originally planned later start time. Below is the start and end time information for Hamilton Middle for the 2021-2022 school year:

Starting in September, Hamilton will be back to its originally scheduled student instructional day of 8:38am-3:55pm, Tuesday-Friday, with the early release time of 2:23pm on Mondays.

Join Our PTO Board
Do you know that the children of parents who serve on the PTO at their child's school actually do better in school over the long-term? I am quite sure that we could discuss at length the causal relationship of this dynamic, but since we are in need of new members to our PTO Board for next year, I am going to strongly suggest that the cause of the children's success is indeed due to serving on the PTO ;) If interested in joining us, please see the below graphic for more information. You can also check out this link to our Hamilton PTO website.

If interested or if you are in need of more information, please email Georgia Rucker at this address. Thanks!
