We are pleased to announce that HTAB Executive Director, Judy Travis, has been nominated for the YWCA 2011 Women of Distinction Awards in the category of Community Development and Social Activism.  The announcement was made on Wednesday, March 9th at the Hamilton Club when 49 women were nominated in a variety of categories.  The awards ceremony takes place on Tuesday, May 3 at the Hamilton Convention Centre.  Congratulations on your well deserved nomination Judy!

Creative Industries: Creative Skills

Creative jobsHTAB is completing research on Creative Industries in Hamilton. This project defines the sectors that make up the cluster and includes research around future labour market growth and skills requirements based on employer consults.  Identified will be key sectors, key occupations, and future demand and skills requirements.  If you are an employer, or work in the Creative Industries, we'd like your feedback.  Please complete a survey by clicking on the link below.


The survey will remain open until March 11 at 4:30 pm.   The results of the project will be released in April.
