A Look Ahead to 2019!

And just like that, it's almost 2019! This year has been full of incredible moments. From new partnerships (some of which you'll see throughout this newsletter), to amazing bridal expos and shows, we've met some incredible people, from vendors to brides. Sharing in the successes of our vendors means the world to us. We revel in their accomplishments and cheer them on from the sidelines, hoping they find success but also joy in this industry. After all, we have to work together in order to make a wedding happen.

A photographer won't have beautiful photos of their evening weddings without expert lighting.

A bride's look is only half complete with a gorgeous wedding gown- she needs the hair and makeup to go with it.

A venue can be beautiful in its own right, but it needs a skilled coordinator to put all the pieces together. 

It is this teamwork that we hope to nourish into the new year. We hope to show that the Hampton Roads wedding industry is strong, creative, immensely talented, and cooperative. 

To our vendors, both current and future: We are here for you. Through the busy months and the slow ones. In the new year we hope to continue highlighting the work you do and if there is ever anything in particular you want us to share for you, send it our way! We are excited to start highlighting the amazing reviews you receive once a week on Facebook and hope they'll bring a smile to your face.

To our brides: We hope we can make the wedding planning process just a little bit easier. We know you want this day to be perfect, and together we can make that happen. From our online tools to our extensive vendor list, we hope to be your one stop shop for all things weddings! We will work hard to make sure you know about all the amazing bridal shows in Hampton Roads and the work our vendors are doing throughout these amazing cities.

A Wedding for Every Season

We love how all of our awesome vendors are able to embrace each wedding, no matter the season or elements that come their way. Through rain, 100 degree temperatures, and snow, they've shown that Mother Nature has nothing on their talents! In this particular shot above, makeup artist Kim Wadsworth made sure that her bride's makeup could last throughout the cold weather and snowy conditions. Do you know how red your face gets when you're outside in the cold? Bride Caroline looked stunning despite the cold, snowy weather.
