Walking Down the Aisle & Ceremony Music
There are a few parts of the ceremony you'll need to make sure you have music for:
Prelude
Bridesmaid and Groomsmen procession
Bridal procession
Ceremony Interlude (may or may not be necessary based on your wedding)
Recessional
The great thing about wedding music, as is the case with every other aspect of your wedding day, is that it's your wedding so it's YOUR rules! If you want to play acoustic music for the entire ceremony, go for it! If you want something more traditional, a violinist or DJ playing instrumental music would be more your speed. Either way, it's totally up to you. We love seeing couples incorporate beautiful songs that are meaningful to their relationship into the ceremony in some way.
Some couples even choose to do a combination of classic and contemporary. For example, you can choose to have more modern love songs that are meaningful to you play while guests are arriving (here is a great list from Brides.com
Songs for Your Wedding Ceremony) and then play more classical music for the processions.
