All Over Beading & Modest Gowns

Designer Jenny Packham had some gorgeous gowns on the runway of Fashion Week! We absolutely love this gown featuring all over beading, a high neckline, and cap sleeves. This gown would be perfect for a bride looking for a more modest gown. We also think this gown would look perfect on so many different body types! Her entire 2018 collection features many modest gowns of different silhouettes.

Wedding Gown Shopping With Your Mom

For some brides, the thought of shopping for a wedding gown with their mom sounds a little stressful. After all, as much as we love our moms, we don't always agree when it comes to style. Maybe you've always dreamed of a strapless, tea length dress and your mother can't imagine you in anything other than a princess ball gown. Lauren Simmons Photography captured these beautiful moments between a bride and her mom on her wedding day. Bride Ashton is wearing a beautiful dress from preferred vendor  Blush Bridal.

We love these tips from The Knot for how to make your appointment a bonding experience between you and your mom. They also have a great article about whether or not you should bring your future mother-in-law along to your appointment.

Jesse & Victoria got married at the gorgeous Hermitage Museum and Gardens and Victoria wore a stunning, tiered gown from Ava Clara Couture Bridal. The beautiful, strapless, lace gown was accented with a champagne colored sash that added an extra touch to a classic silhouette. Victoria's bridesmaids also got their vibrant red, floor length gowns from Ava Clara. We love the one shoulder and how flattering the dresses were on each of her bridesmaids.

Angie McPherson Photography photographed the wedding and took stunning photos and has the entire wedding on her blog.
