Sit-Down Dinner or Buffet?
There are several factors that might come into play when trying to decide between a sit-down dinner or buffet for your wedding.
Cost: For some catering companies, a buffet can be less expensive than a sit-down dinner. Sit down meals require more wait staff.
Ambiance: If you're wanting a more glamorous or formal event, a sit-down dinner creates the perfect ambiance for your event. A buffet is a little more casual and relaxed. It's all about what you're going for as a couple and the tone you want to set for your guests.
Variety and Choice: A buffet tends to give your guests a little more choice and variety in what they put on their plates. For sit down meals your guests can often choose between a few choices (beef, fish, or chicken, for example) but outside of that there is typically little room for editing the meal. With food allergies and intolerances a buffet is a great option.
Aside from a sit-down dinner or buffet, you could also opt for a family-style or stations meal. We enjoyed this
