2020 Wedding Gown Trends

This past month we've seen the latest from New York Fashion Week and all the new trends for next year. Bridal gowns are going in fun, new directions and pushing the fashion envelope. From sleek, tailored bridal suits to fun, flirty feathers, the trends are taking a traditional gown and turning it upside down. We've already seen a couple of these trends on brides here in Hampton Roads this year and we're excited to see how daring brides are willing to go to truly be themselves on their wedding day and embrace their inner fashionista. Capes aren't just for super heroes! 2020 is going to be the year of the cape and we are all in. This gorgeous bride wore a stunning cape with her gown from Silk Bridal Studio for her 2019 wedding. We especially love the stunning lace detail and the drama it added to her otherwise simple gown. This bride was looking for a Game of Thrones inspired look and we think she nailed it.
