How Hand2Hand Works
Hungry students are identified by a local school. Hand2Hand partners that school with a church. We engage the community to gather food. Nutritiously packed food go home with students each Friday.
How Hand2Hand is Different
1) faith-based, volunteer driven and scalable
2) provides food during the most vulnerable time - the weekend
3) serves students in early childhood through high school
4) the simple, flexible delivery model works in any school
5) sustainable, minimal cost and maximum efficiency
Corinth Hand2Hand is serving 261 students at 4 schools: Countryside Elementary in Byron Center, Steeby Elementary in Wayland, Discovery Elementary and Crestwood Middle in Kentwood.
