Cool Use Case Using HDPsyChart: Import Live Temperature Data from Your Favorite Data Logger

Users can turn live temperature data into actionable insights by importing temperature and humidity data directly from a HOBO data logger into HDPsyChart V9. Once uploaded, each data point is automatically plotted on the chart in real time, revealing how conditions change over hours, days, or entire seasons. See the screenshot below that illustrates over 9,000 imported psychrometric points.

This opens the door to advanced, data-driven decision-making for engineers. By overlaying actual measured conditions onto comfort zones or weather data bins, users can validate HVAC system performance and much more.

We are asked time and time again about offering online training of the HDPsyChart software. We do indeed offer 1-hour Zoom training sessions for small and large groups.

Our training sessions usually cover the basics of psychrometrics (for those engineers new to the industry) and then delve into using the HDPsyChart software application, itself. These sessions are always interactive so questions and comments are encouraged throughout the entire training session.

Also, we often record these sessions so you can watch them on your own later on or share them with colleagues.
