Recent and Upcoming Programs
Walk and Talk
Several of our board members provided a weekly opportunity for community walks this winter. This was a helpful way to provide connection to those feeling isolated.
Puppy Therapy!
Special thanks to Brian Carten for bringing puppy therapy to our local middle school! The pups brought joy and peace to the campus. Next stop: Harwood Union Middle & High Schools.

Parenting Sessions Offered this spring
Appreciation for our Educators
Hannah's House is sponsoring free Yoga for HUUSD teachers and staff in appreciation for their continued effort and dedication during these challenging times.
Hannah's House is partnering with two other MRV non profits to get kids to camps and programs. Summer activities and camps provide children with opportunities to socialize, make new friends, develop new skills, get outdoor exercise and have fun. It's an experience that most children enjoy and with such a wide variety of camps, it's easy to find one that suits your child’s interests.

Unfortunately, it can be challenging for parents to send their kids to these programs due to the high costs involved. The MRV Summer FUNd is here to help ensure that children in the valley who want to participate are given the opportunity. This is a collaborative effort between the Mad River Valley Interfaith Council, The Mad River Valley Community Fund, and Hannah’s House.

News from Our Team
A Note From Our Therapist Gary:
Spring Reset However you may feel about daylight savings time, it is undeniable that the spring thaw is soon upon us. This comes with all the mixed blessings that we’ve become accustomed to living in the north and rolling with what Vermont hands us through the seasons. Warm sunshine reflecting off the snow gives us great spring ski days and goggle tans (maybe not so much this year) while also forcing us to navigate muddy roads and hosing off muddy dogs. It’s all part of the deal.

Meet Our Spring Intern!
Sophia Henzel is a junior at Harwood Union High School. She's working with us to bring an ongoing series on mental health into the high school each week, a mentoring program and peer support group.
Neurofeedback Sessions Restart
We are happy to report that our NeurOptimal system is back up and running. We have been providing neurofeedback sessions in our Waitsfield Office since mid March. Our sliding fee scale makes this technology accessible to all.
