Memorial Day holiday serves as a time for us to remember the fallen and take a break from life to enjoy the freedoms we are privileged to have.

In observance of the holiday, the Corporate Office will be closed this Monday, May 29, and will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 30.

Hanover Spotlight Nominations

Each month, we recognize one employee with the Hanover Spotlight Award for going above and beyond their role and personifying the qualities Hanover values most.

To show your coworker how much their efforts and actions resonated with you, send a nomination email to HumanResources@hanoverco.com with the nominee's name and a brief explanation of why you are submitting the nomination. Not only will they have a chance to be recognized company-wide, but they will also receive a $250 gift card as a reward for their efforts!

Adam Bodien

Project Engineer Intern - Hanover Tuscan 3000

Salem, NH

Project Engineer Intern Adam Bodien was welcomed by the Hanover Tuscan 3000 Construction Team last week. Adam is a Construction Management student at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA, with an expected graduation date in April 2025. As a US Marine Corps Reserve Infantry Platoon Sergeant, he participates in a work study with the Military Connected Office in addition to his regular schoolwork. Adam enjoys physical fitness and going to the gym, but also loves photography and offers freelance services in the Boston area!

Andrew Lambert

Project Engineer Intern - Hanover Weymouth

Weymouth, MA

Currently in his junior year in the Honors Engineering Program at Western New England University, Andrew Lambert joined the Hanover Weymouth team as a Project Engineer Intern. Over the last three years, while studying for a Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Andrew has earned a spot on either the Dean’s or President’s list for four semesters. One of Andrew’s great interests and hobbies is soccer. He is a member of the university’s soccer team, a Certified Referee for the United States Soccer Federation, a Head Coach for an under-6 team, and an Assistant Coach for under-8 and under-12 teams!

Amir Jarad

Project Engineer Intern - Hanover Everett

Everett, MA

The Hanover Everett project gained a new Project Engineer Intern last week when Amir Jarad began his internship at Hanover. Last year, Amir completed an internship at Environmental Engineering Incorporated. There, he designed and constructed heating and air conditioning analyses, used AutoCAD to create unit space plans, and calculated costs for bids. Amir attends Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is on a path to receiving a B. S. in Industrial Engineering with a Minor in Data Science. After completing his internship, Amir is excited to spend time with his large family, including his four siblings and cat, Luna, before returning to school in the fall!

Clare Caulfield

Leasing Agent - Hanover Colony Place

Plymouth, MA

Leasing Agent Clare Caulfield is the newest addition to the lease-up team at Hanover Colony Place. As she attends Nichols College in Dudley, MA, to major in marketing and minor in communications, Clare has held jobs and completed internships in these and sales fields. Before joining Hanover, she worked as a Sales Support Representative at Sagamore Sales & Marketing Inc. and as a Social Media and Marketing Intern for the Nichols College Women’s Ice Hockey Team. Between studying and working, Clare goes to the beach or shopping with friends, or stays in with her dog, Lucy, and experiments with new cooking recipes!

German Salazar

Maintenance Supervisor - Hanover Broadway

San Jose, CA

With 13 years of experience in commercial and residential renovations and maintenance, German Salazar began his new position as Hanover Broadway’s Maintenance Supervisor. Throughout his career at Greystar, Goldrich + Kest, and Sequoia Equities, German managed maintenance teams, remodeled units, and scheduled vendors for properties with over 250 units. When off the clock, he focuses on his family, hiking, and nature. German fondly remembers a vacation to Cancun for the fabulous adventures with his loved ones and the exceptionally gorgeous full moon one night!

Matthew Kissamis

Leasing Agent - Hanover Parkview

Houston, TX

Recent Texas A&M International University graduate Matthew Kissamis returned to Houston from Laredo and jumped into his new role as Leasing Agent at Hanover Parkview. As a successful baseball student-athlete for five years, Matthew won many awards on and off the field, including TAMIU Hitter of the Year and Lone Star Conference Commissioner Honor Roll. Between semesters, he gained customer service experience as a Server at West End Marina and an Assistant at El Pescador Boatworks, LLC. Matthew is excited to be home to spend time with his parents and siblings, but especially his furry, slightly bug-eyed, fetch-obsessed dog, Stella!

Naomy Mata

Property Management Intern

Houston, TX

Naomy Mata embarked upon an internship with Hanover’s Property Management Team at the Corporate Office last week. Naomy has always had a propensity for learning, applying new lessons to future actions, and continuing on a journey of personal growth. Because of this, she is eager to build upon her hospitality and customer service experience from client-facing roles with the knowledge she will gain during her internship. In her free time, Naomy enjoys recording and editing videos, cooking and baking, listening to crime stories, and living life to the fullest!

Paige Littlehale

Field Engineer Intern - Hanover Stoneham

Stoneham, MA

Returning to Hanover for a second internship, Paige Littlehale joined the Hanover Stoneham team. Last summer, Paige was a Project Engineer Intern on the now completed The Nines property. Still pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Paige is on track to graduate in May 2025. While growing up in Massachusetts, she visited many historical sites, which sparked an interest in American and European history. Paige enjoys traveling to different countries to learn about their rich history, and even spent the last fall semester studying abroad in France!

Regina Aquino

Leasing Agent - Hanover Post Oak

Houston, TX

The team members at Hanover Post Oak welcomed Regina Aquino to the leasing team. Regina graduated from the University of Houston’s Conrad Hilton College earlier this month with a Bachelor of Science in Global Hospitality Leadership. She actively worked in the hospitality industry throughout college and participated in student leadership positions. Regina simultaneously served as Cultural Director for the Filipino Student Association and Director of Events for Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP). A Houston native with Filipino-born parents, Regina loves choreographing and dancing traditional Filipino dances and exploring Houston coffee shops!

Tristan Sharp

Construction Intern - Hanover 1230 West Peachtree

Atlanta, GA

After spring and fall internships at Civil Engineering Materials Lab and Structural Design Lab, Tristan Sharp didn't miss a beat as he stepped onsite as a Construction Intern at Hanover 1230 West Peachtree (Dilworth). Tristan is enrolled in the University of Georgia's Driftmier College of Engineering's Honor Program and will pursue a general MBA after graduating with a degree in civil engineering with a focus in structural engineering. To unwind, he plays the piano, builds computers, and trains for swimming and running events. Tristan may have been born and raised in the South, but his favorite food is a northern staple – the Philly Cheesesteak!

Wesley Walles

Porter - The George

Fort Worth, TX

Wesley Walles joined Hanover last week by filling the Porter position at The George. After a four-year tour in the United States Navy, he earned an associate’s degree in general studies from Tarrant County College in Fort Worth and worked as a Private Security Officer for Executive Protective Systems. At home, Wesley and his wife and son are almost outnumbered by their pets – a dog and two cats – but are glad they each have an animal to love on simultaneously. Wesley enjoys hands-on hobbies, including woodworking, drawing, and crafting, and loves traveling to Tennessee or anywhere he can trade his flat Fort Worth surroundings for one with towering mountains!

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Elizabeth Penny to Leasing Manager at Hanover Buckhead Village! Liz joined the Buckhead Team seven months ago after successfully mastering each role she held at Hanover Perimeter, The LINC Brookhaven, and Hanover Southampton. Liz has been instrumental in proudly reinforcing the 'Hanover Way' amongst her teammates and with each residential interaction. With her infectious positive attitude, willingness to help, and desire to perfect the ultimate resident experience, we have no doubt that she will excel in her new role! Congratulations, Liz!

Hanover Laguna Niguel Garage Top Out Celebration!

On Friday, May 19, the Hanover Laguna Niguel Construction Team and builders on the project celebrated the garage concrete top out.

Over 150 workers enjoyed a catered bbq lunch and a raffle with vendor and subcontractor-supplied items.
