Bar Mitzvah: Aidan Zack

December 10



Aiden Zack, son of Aaron and Connie Zack, will become a Bar Mitzvah on December 10, 2022. Aiden attends Leawood Middle School, where he is preparing to become a professional Futbol

(soccer) player for the premier league in Europe. When he is not training, he enjoys spending time with his friends, playing golf, basketball, swimming and Xbox. For his Mitzvah project he

will be working with Sporting Blue Valley to help train underserved youths in the game that he loves, soccer.

Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Zedek

Tuesdays December 6 and 13 | noon-1:00 pm | B’nai Jehudah

Join Rabbi Michael Zedek for a wonderful discussion about his upcoming book Hiding in Plain Sight: A Journey to Everyday Spirituality. Both sessions will focus on the book. Bring a sack lunch, B'nai Jehudah will provide dessert.

First Aid/CPR Training

December 11 | Noon-2:00 pm | for 6th-12th graders

at B'nai Jehudah

Immediately after Yalla!, we will enjoy a pizza lunch at B'nai Jehudah, followed by a first aid/CPR training session. This class is great for anyone who wants to learn life saving skills - especially if you are a babysitter! $15/student

Mitzvah Moment: Clothing Drive

through Dec. 11 | drop off at B'nai Jehudah

B'nai Jehudah is collecting new and gently used clothing and shoes of all sizes - from infants to adults - to help KC Welcome Alliance welcome immigrants/asylum seekers from our southern border. KC Welcome Alliance, an interfaith group composed of Christians, Muslims and Jews, will provide food, clothing, shelter and assistance with securing transportation to their US sponsors and relatives. Please help us care for other families and individuals through this mitzvah moment!


The people we are helping are in the U.S. legally and with proper papers.
