The 2024 Upper Cumberland Hispanic Heritage Festival took place at Dogwood Park in Cookeville, Tennessee, on Sunday, September 15.
Running from 11 AM to 5 PM, the festival was free and open to the public, drawing hundreds of attendees to celebrate the vibrant arts, music, food, dance, and cultures of the diverse Hispanic and Latino communities.
Families and individuals enjoyed cultural booths offering delicious ethnic cuisine samples, live musical performances, dynamic dance showcases, and cultural arts exhibitions. The Kid's Zone featured bounce houses and fun activities for all ages.
As part of our official Hispanic Heritage Month kick-off, normally held in Nashville, the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce partnered with Hip Cookeville, the festival organizers, now in its third year. We proudly brought a special proclamation from Governor Bill Lee to this event to symbolize the growing presence of the Hispanic community across Tennessee.
