A Two-Part Virtual Anti-Bias Mini Training
Friday, August 7 & Friday, August 14 | 12:30-2:30pm, PDT
This two-part, interactive virtual training will focus on developing participants' knowledge and skills to reflect on, interrupt and reroute individual racial and other forms of bias in the context of their work.

While it is true that we all hold bias, the way our biases guide our actions is shaped by our social identities (racial, gendered, class-based, etc.) and experiences.

Through lecture, guided reflection, and small/large group dialogue, participants will more deeply understand how they are shaped by forces of oppression and privilege as well as gain tools for interrupting their own and others’ biased beliefs and practices.

These trainings will be virtual for two hours each with some home learning assigned in between. Participants are asked to commit to attending both parts of the series.
