Two Free Healthy Meals a Day to Any Child

Sadly, many children receive their main meal at school and actually can rely on these meals. During the summer months when these children are not in school and not being fed, our Family Success Center located at 580 Benson Street, Camden serves two healthy meals a day to any child. They also have free activities for kids. It is a serene and supportive environment so feel free to share this post for children to benefit and not go hungry. We also have various trainings there for adults as well as help with finding a job (see their calendar below) or call: 856 964.8096 or pnfsc@centerffs.org
Watch the Solar Eclipse:  On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse will cross the continental United States from Salem, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. The last time a total eclipse crossed the United States from sea to sea was June 8, 1918. The 2017 eclipse in either total or partial phase can be seen by over 500 million people in North and South America, Europe, and Africa. In the U.S., millions will gather along a tiny ribbon less than 100 miles wide to see totality, the complete blocking out of the sun by the Moon which will reveal the solar corona. The rest of entire country will be able to see a partial eclipse. It is also truly an historic event and a wonderful opportunity to view one of nature's most stunning displays. It is worth taking a day off to see something that happens once in a generation!  Location:  Valleybrook Country Club, 200 Golfview Dr, Blackwood NJ, 08012  Date:  August 21, 2017  Time:  1:00 PM
