Join the Greater Boston Stage Company for this feel-good comedy, following two actors as they hilariously play more than twenty townsfolk trying to prove that art can save the world. Popcorn Falls, a town whose only claim to fame is their namesake waterfall, has dried up and their last chance to avoid bankruptcy is to put on a play in a week. Small town. BIG laughs!

Stoneham Recovery Fest

Hosted by Stoneham Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Community, Recovery Fest is a day for the community to come together, have some fun, hear some great music, and to celebrate as well as learn about addiction recovery
 
Grand Theft Audio will perform and organizations will be on hand that provide resources and direct support to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Games and activities for kids, food, raffles, and lots of fun are all included! This event is free and open to the public.

Jumpin' Juba Blues + Roots Rock Concert

Hand-made music, presented live and in real time. Jumpin' Juba is New Orleans swamp-rock, classic boogie-woogie, folk, Memphis rock & roll, and a playful use of everything from calypso to country stirred into the one blue stew. Join the Stoneham Public Library for an eclectic night of musical styles from Jumpin’ Juba!

This concert is offered to the public at no cost through funding provided by the Mass Cultural Council and the Stoneham Cultural Council.

Matt Heaton Performs

Matt Heaton performs music for kids that is also entertaining for parents. His songs blend mid-century American guitar styles: surf, rockabilly, western swing & soul, delivered with a wry sense of humor and a sincere sense of fun. Kids dance, laugh, and sing along. Grown-ups appreciate the Muppet-esque touches of humor and observations of kid behavior. Call it children's music, family music, kindie or toddler-billy it's sure to please listeners of all ages.
Stoneham Volunteers: Extraordinary Achievements

Stoneham's volunteers have always dedicated their unstoppable energy to building a strong community. Hear from local historian, Dee Morris, how George A. Hinchcliffe convinced Andrew Carnegie to fund the library building and went on to serve as library trustee for fifty years. Enjoy an evening heartfelt salute to our many community volunteers.

This event is funded through the Stoneham Cultural Council and is free and open to the public.
