Adoptable Pet Spotlight
This sweet boy is Troy!

This low-riding boy is a five year old Basset Hound mix that would love to meet you! We're not entirely sure what breeds are in this guy besides Basset, but what we do know is that he's adorable! Troy's favorite thing in the world is belly rubs, followed closely by people. He was constantly trying to flop for belly rubs while we were taking pictures of him. Troy was also so excited to make another doggy friend here at the shelter- he'd probably love having siblings to play with! He also really wanted to play with the cats he met, so he might be a bit too excited for a more reserved kitty friend.
If you are interested in meeting this pet, please contact Chesterfield County Animal Services at 804-748-1683, option "0," to schedule an appointment. Office staff are available by phone 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The shelter is located at 9300 Public Works Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
