Meet Love!
Her name is quite fitting as she has the most loving personality. The first thing you'll notice about her is how she freely gives out hugs. She just wants to be as close to you as possible. Love has a gentle spirit so if you have children at home, we feel she may do well around them.
Love enjoys spending time outside and likes going on walks. She does need a little bit of leash training, but it shouldn't take too much work. She also needs to be taught her basic commands; she is highly treat motivated so she should pick up on those tricks pretty quickly.
|
|
If you have other dogs at home, we want you to bring them with you to meet her. She has met a few dogs at the shelter and she seems a little unsure of some of them. She does best with dogs who have a calmer energy that matches her. She is heartworm positive and is currently being treated. Love is a 1 year old Pitbull mix and weighs 49 pounds.
If you are interested in meeting this pet, please contact Chesterfield County Animal Services at 804-748-1683, option "0," to schedule an appointment. Office staff are available by phone 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The shelter is located at 9300 Public Works Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
