VDH Chesterfield Health District Launches
Online Vaccine Inquiry Form for COVID-19 Vaccine
|
|
The VDH Chesterfield Health District has released its COVID-19 Vaccine Inquiry Form for those individuals who wish to be put on a COVID-19 vaccination waitlist
The tool DOES NOT RESERVE A VACCINE OR CREATE AN APPOINTMENT, but it does collect contact information so that when a vaccine is available, VDH can contact individuals to make an appointment.
The Chesterfield Health District is a state agency overseen by VDH, not Chesterfield County Government.
Friends and family members are encouraged to assist those with limited or no computer resources. REGISTERING FOR THIS ONLINE WAITLIST IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Individuals can still join the waitlist using the Chesterfield Health District hotline at 804-318-8207. However, phone systems have been, and likely will continue to be, completely overwhelmed, so please join the waitlist online if at all possible.
Vaccine demand is extraordinarily high and supplies are significantly limited. Those who provide their contact information may not receive a return call or email for days or weeks, and may not get a vaccine appointment for weeks or even months.

Commissioner of the Revenue to Continue Providing Pre-Scheduled, In-Person Appointments
|
|
As the 2021 local tax deadlines approach amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the commissioner of the revenue will continue to assist residents and safeguard employee and community health by offering pre-scheduled, in-person appointments.
To schedule an appointment, taxpayers may call 804-748-1281 or send an email to [email protected] that includes their name, tax account number and a brief description of their issue. When scheduling an appointment, a tax assessment specialist will confirm which documents and other materials are needed to complete the taxpayer’s transaction.
Taxpayers without a pre-scheduled appointment will have the option to wait for the next available opening or to make an appointment for another time. Due to safety concerns, residents are not currently allowed to wait in the office lobby and will instead be asked to wait in their car or in the hallway.
The commissioner of the revenue encourages taxpayers to consider completing their transaction by phone at 804-748-1281, email at [email protected] or by mail at PO Box 124, Chesterfield County, VA 23832. A team of experienced tax assessment specialists is available during business hours to serve taxpayers.

|

Formed out of a mutual love of American and Irish fiddle music, Steel Gut got its start when Tom Stevens (violin) and Derek Tuttle (guitar) were teaching at a local music academy and had breaks between private lessons. Separately, Tom performs with the Roanoke Symphony, as well as the Oratorio Society of Virginia, while Derek is a member of rock band KKSD, wedding and event band The Bachelor Boys, and country/rock/bluegrass band Heartwood. Together, they are Steel Gut and perform a wide variety of music in and around Richmond, Virginia.
Since forming as a predominantly Irish fiddle duo, Steel Gut has expanded into other genres and original music, including Bluegrass, Brazilian, and Jazz.

Meet Inara!
Inara is bound to catch your attention and she is as sweet as she is beautiful!
This girl loves attention and would enjoy going out for walks and adventures. She is still trying to figure out toys, but she will get there. She is a very smart girl and already knows how to sit.
Inara has tested positive for heartworms, but we have already started her on treatment and send the meds home with you! Because of her high prey drive she should not go to a home with cats. She can also be dominant with dogs so we think it would be best if she is the only dog in the home.

|
Inara is a 4 year old Akita/Elkhound Mix and weighs about 66 pounds. Animal #591679
