Chesterfield Eats to Go
Chesterfield Economic Development has launched  Chesterfield Eats to Go an online resource that will help Chesterfield citizens identify which restaurants near them are open for pickup or delivery. This project was made possible by a partnership with the  Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce .

More restaurants will continue to be added to the system as their available services are verified.*

If you are a restaurant offering pickup or deliver services but are not currently included on  Chesterfield Eats to Go , please   complete the restaurant listing form .

Revised Proposed FY2021 Budget:
Available for Review Friday, April 3

As uncertainty from the coronavirus known as COVID-19 continues to disrupt the daily routines of Chesterfield County residents, business owners and our own employees, county leaders are advancing measures to focus on services and information while preparing for negative impacts to the local economy.

Currently, county staff are in the process of revising the proposed FY2021 budget. The entire revised Chesterfield County FY2021 budget will be available for review on Friday, April 3 at and will be presented to the Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, April 8. In order to share the amended budget and provide residents with an opportunity to ask questions, the county will host two Facebook Live meetings following the presentation to the board. Once those are scheduled, we will share those dates with you. You are encouraged to submit comments and questions any time using the online form .

Additionally on Wednesday, April 8, the Board of Supervisors is scheduled to adopt the tax rates in order to facilitate the associated billings. It’s anticipated the board will adopt the proposed budget and the utility rates on Wednesday, April 22. Information about how the Board of Supervisors meeting will be held, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, will be provided soon.

U.S. Census Day: April 1
The 2020 U.S. Census is has arrived and tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1 is Census Day !

Households should have received official U.S. Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 U.S. Census online, by phone or by mail.

Pay close to attention the unique number given to your household and be prepared to use it during your response.

The 2020 U.S. Census is mandatory; all households are encouraged to complete their responses on Census Day, which is Wednesday, April 1 (this isn’t an April Fool’s joke). The 2020 U.S. Census is based upon the members of a household as of Census Day, meaning the number of people living in your home on April 1.
