Said to exercise every muscle in the body at once, Tai Chi is good for strength, balance, and your mind. Open to people of all ages, kids included. Suggested donation is $5.00. Led by our own John Rankin, who is a black belt in many forms of martial arts.

MISSIONS UPDATE

Help those that need help!

Sometimes we forget how easy it is to help others. Bringing in a couple of cans of fruits, vegetables, spaghetti, or any other foodstuff could be the difference between a child or adult going to bed hungry or not. We have a collection grocery cart in the Narthex for food that the Mission Committee delivers to one of our mission partners.

The Network Coffee House is support for adults that need help. The Coffee House gives people a place to get together, have a conversation, and help get their life back in order. A simple bag of whole-bean unflavored coffee is greatly needed. The Network Coffee House can go through 8 - 10 bags per night.

Our grocery stores have many of these items on weekly sales. Walmart has vegetables and some fruit for only 57¢ a can. Amazon has bags of whole-bean unflavored coffee for about $5.50 per bag.

If everyone helped a little, we could have a significant impact on the needs of the many, many local people looking for help. It doesn’t take any time, but it takes the right memory of bringing something to help others.

This month- bring in coffee and drop in in the black stacking bins next to the elevator.

Proverbs 19:17 (NIV): "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done."

CONTINUED REFLECTION

BETWEEN can be your “extra” church experience. It centers on a dream of inspiring millions of people to live as though God is always right in the middle of our conversations and interactions. It invites us all to create holy spaces anywhere.

In every moment of human connection we can worship. Our everyday conversations should become cathedrals of connection. Our family dinners, coffee shop chats, and small talk in line at the grocery store become opportunities to commune with each other and with the power of the universe.

Our world is far too lonely, far too disconnected. BETWEEN wants to help you be the people who reconnect the world. It helps thousands of people all over the world become really good at human connection by infusing your interactions with spiritual energy.

BETWEEN is simple. Sign up for the email list. Receive weekly and daily inspiration about how to infuse every interaction with a divine light. Then you go out into the world and create “church” in every interaction (and we don’t mean you evangelize and only talk about faith stuff — we just want you to treat every conversation as truly sacred).
