Weekly eBlast March 3, 2021
Worship With Us
This Sunday we are doing a live Zoom Service at 10:30am! Steve is preaching on "Your Secret Life", based on chapter 29 in We Make the Road by Walking.

The Zoom link will be at the top of our website on Sunday Morning, or you can use this link:

If you can’t join the live-streamed service, you can watch the recording later at www.columbineunited.church, Facebook or YouTube.
This year we are planning for an outdoor Easter worship at Clement Park Amphitheater and as always, we will have a pre-recorded service online. We do not know if we will need to do an RSVP sign-up or not, based on COVID limits for gathering sizes. More to come on that.

Pray for good weather so we can celebrate outdoors!

Sunday Morning Adult Education: This Sunday, March 7, CUC’s Janet Kester leads a discussion on “Empathy”. We seem to be seeing the word “Empathy” a lot these days and it is being used in many different contexts. Most seem to say that there is a real shortage of empathy. Let’s examine this.
Please join us from 9:30-10:30AM. Use the Zoom link provided.

CUC is looking to hire a Nursery Worker to care for children ages 2 and under primarily during Sunday morning worship and activities (occasional events may be included). This person would also oversee our youth nursery workers as they assist in the care and nurture of these children.

The ideal candidate would have one or more years of experience working with children in a nursery, excellent communication skills with co-workers and parents, as well as knowledge in child safety and development. This person would have to pass a background check and go through CPR and child safety training. They will report to Jeannie Kiel and Samantha Bronson. E-mail Samantha for more information.
Mission Moments
Thank you Columbine United Church members for generously supporting the Integrated Family Commuity Services' (IFCS) "Nibble & Sips" Virtual Gala on Sat. evening, 2/27/21.

Through your generous donations, IFCS will be able to feed 50,000 people this month, compared to 500 before the pandemic. WOO-HOO!

IFCS has partnered with the community since 1964. In the past we have brought food to the church each week to send to the pantry at IFCS. Due to the pandemic, we have had to change our emphasis. Together we can still do it.

One Can, Two Can, Who Can, YOU CAN help feed the community.
Mim Willyard, CUC Mission Commission.
