Happenings at St. David's

Imagine what it must be like to volunteer to officiate at Sunday worship services at churches you know very little about, each with its own 'liturgical quirks'. Does the choir process in? How are the sacraments distributed? Is there a children’s homily along with a sermon? Do they use slides at one service and printed bulletins at a different one? The list of uncertainties is long. Needless to say, supply clergy must be prepared for anything and everything once the processional begins.
While our search for an interim rector continues, we have been blessed with clergy who have agreed to meet the Sunday worship needs of St. David’s. We want to take this opportunity to provide brief profiles of two clergy whose faces and wisdom we have been introduced to, but who we will get to know better in coming weeks as we move into the summer.

Please visit here to learn more about Pastor Tiffany Towberman and Reverend Winston Welty. Let's give them a big St. David's welcome!
Congratulations to Our 2022 Vestry Candidates

Vacation Bible School: Food Truck Party- On a Roll with God! This year VBS is based on Matthew 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread.” This verse teaches us that everything we have comes from God and also calls us to turn to God in prayer for our daily needs.
Children will learn the important lessons about God’s ability to provide through music, bible stories, crafts, outdoor play and exploration, science and so much more! Because God loves and cares for us, we, in turn, can love and care for one another and the rest of the world. Each session focuses on different ways God has met the needs of God’s people and reminds us that God is doing this today through us.

If paying via check, checks payable to St. David's Church with VBS on the memo line. Checks can delivered/sent to the church office. Online payments can be made via our website by clicking here.
