On November 20, 2024, the Wilton Kiwanis Club proudly presented a check for $16,400 to the Wilton Historical Society! This generous contribution reflects the combined proceeds from last year’s Pumpkin Patch Charity Weekend and the Wilton Kiwanis Signature Community Building Project grant.

The funds have been instrumental in the creation of the Puzzle Pieces: Putting Wilton Together at the Wilton Historical Society project. This exciting new initiative has transformed the former Toy Loft into a family-friendly interactive space designed to engage visitors of all ages. The space is set to open to the public at the end of November and promises to provide an engaging way for families to connect with Wilton’s rich history.

Nick Foster, Director of the Wilton Historical Society, expressed his gratitude:

“We are incredibly thankful to the Wilton Kiwanis Club for their unwavering support. This generous donation has allowed us to create a vibrant and interactive space that we hope will inspire families to explore and connect with Wilton’s history in a meaningful way.”

The Wilton Historical Society plays a vital role in preserving the town’s history and providing educational outreach to the community. This project, made possible by the Kiwanis Club’s generosity, ensures that Wilton’s stories and heritage are accessible to future generations.

The Wilton Kiwanis Club is honored to support the Historical Society and its mission of celebrating and preserving the history of our town. Thank you to everyone who helped make this contribution possible. Together, we continue to strengthen our community and its connections to the past.
