QEP Updates
The goal of the Montreat College QEP is to develop the critical thinking skills of our students so that they can graciously impact the world around them.
In case you missed it, the winning name for our QEP is T2I: Think2Impact! Thank you, William Cheek for submitting the winning name and to all who contributed to the nomination process!
Other updates:
Utilizing our T2I critical thinking rubric, baseline data has been gathered for SAS course IS102 and has begun to be gathered for the AGS equivalent course, GE250.
Grant and foundation funding searches are underway! If you have any suggestions for grants or foundations, which may be interested in supporting the topic of critical thinking (be it for the overall College or individual departments) PLEASE EMAIL YOUR SUGGESTIONS to Megan Clunan at [email protected]. The QEP Team will work with Jason Elledge, our Grants Manager, to look into each.
The QEP Lead Evaluator list has been narrowed down to a top two. Both individuals will be reached out to by our SACSCOC liaison this week with the final candidate being solidified in the coming days.
