Air Force Medallion Restored for Memorial Park

A central element to Boulevard One's Memorial Park, this Air Force medallion honors all the community members who have participated in the transformation of Lowry Air Force Base into a landmark community. Weighing two tons and measuring eight feet in diameter, it once adorned the Air Force administration building on the Boulevard One site.

Located at the southwest corner of Boulevard One, at Niagara Street and E. Archer Drive, the park also acknowledges the original farmland by featuring kitchen herbs, berries, apple trees and picnic tables.
