Dear Friends,
Brazilian novelist, Paulo Coelho wrote, “Accept what life offers you and try to drink from every cup. All wines should be tasted; some should only be sipped, but with others, drink the whole bottle.”
We don’t really have a choice but to accept what life offers, however, how we accept it is a choice. One of our goals at Pamelot is to offer a beautiful spot among nature and animals, and a sanctuary of peace, where when you arrive you can exhale your adversity and anxiety.
We are about real life, real people and our priority is children. When I started the farm, years ago, I wanted to offer a place where young people could come and feel free, and where parents knew their children were safe and the influence was positive in a world that is so full of ugly.
With the addition of the winery, I want that same ideal for the adults. Painted Horse Winery is a place you can come and be among real people and feel a sense of peace, if only momentarily.
Water to wine was a miracle. There have been times when I felt like I had nothing but water. I made a choice about how to accept what life offered me.
Though not a miracle, n
ow, I’ve turned water into wine! Literally!
Cheers!
