HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We are geared up for a fantastic 2020! The most exciting of which is that we will begin to bottle our very own wines! Soon we will post the release date for our Chardonnay, which has received overwhelming approval in every barrel tasting we've had. As our first wine at Painted Horse Winery it has been appropriately named
We’ve also been barrel tasting our reds and cheers to John! It’s outstanding! One of our reds we are naming
. While pressing the grapes we were tossing the skins into the back of the Gator which was parked outside the winery door. During one trip outside, Pedro, one of our goats, was in the back of the Gator eating the fermented grape skins, hence –Pedro’s Wine! By the way, Pedro is fine.
Pedro’s Wine needs its own artwork which represents Pedro. We are holding a contest for children to enter their impression of Pedro. We are looking for the same whimsical appearance of the Painted Horse logo, but instead a painted goat! Entries need to be on a white background. They can be scanned to
or there will also be an entry box at the farm. The deadline is February 29th. The winner will have their artwork on the labels of the bottles of one of our reds and receive a gift card for The Farm at Pamelot for a riding lesson. Good Luck!
