Dear Swan Parents, Families and Friends,

Gong Xi Fa Cai! This is a common greeting used over the Chinese New Year to wish you an abundance of wealth, and I certainly hope our students had fun using and saying "Gong Xi Fa Cai" to their families and friends.

In celebration of the Year of the Dragon, students decorated artwork with red envelopes, designed their own lucky dragon, used playdough to make Chinese dumplings, and the after-school students had so much fun with SWAN's newest tradition of the Lunar New Year Boutique! I saw so many similes and it was absolutely heartwarming to see the students choosing new year gifts for mommy, daddy, and/or their loved ones. Our first Lunar New Year Boutique was a smashing success, and it will reopen in 2025 Year of the Snake.

In the coming weeks, in addition to the final preparation of the 3/15 (1 Friday Away!) Spring Festival Students Performance, we are working on the upcoming summer program and next school year's curriculum. Swan's priority is always about how students can maximize every learning opportunity under a highly interactive environment. The students' learning outcomes are our strongest drive behind SWAN's mission. As always, thank you for giving Swan the opportunity to do what we enjoy!

Before ending, we at SWAN wish our families and friends a wonderful and prosperous Year of the Dragon. I look forward to seeing some of you at the Spring Festival Students Performance. Please scroll before for more happenings at SWAN.

Sincerely,

Fu Mei Cheung

Executive Director

Lunar New Year Boutique Highlights

We are thrilled to announce that the Lunar New Year Boutique at SWAN has successfully ended! This special event will become a cherished tradition at SWAN, where our students can shop for Lunar New Year gifts for their family and friends.

So happy to see our students having fun during the event. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to explore the joy of choosing, budgeting, and learning valuable lessons about financial responsibility in a fun and supportive environment. Thank you for your kind support in making the Lunar New Year Boutique a success!

Let's continue to celebrate Chinese cultures and traditions together at SWAN.
